The Future of

West Campus Recreation Park

Slated to open in Fall 2024 on the west side of campus, the new Recreation Park will be an incredible facility where students will be able to compete and create lasting memories. The park will feature:

  • Two basketball courts

  • Two pickleball courts

  • Three beach volleyball courts

  • Newly designed softball field

  • Soccer pitch

  • Seating areas and lighting

Natural & Applied Sciences

The Natural and Applied Sciences complex will span 50,000 square feet on the east side of campus on Henderson Lawn at the corner of College Street and Branner Avenue. This twin-building facility includes a plaza area that joins the Chemistry Building and the Biology/Physics Building. The complex will feature:

  • Four total 50+ person lecture halls

  • Eight general labs

  • Four wet labs for Chemistry

  • Gross Anatomy lab

  • Math Department

Social Sciences & Education/Counseling

The Social Sciences and Education/Counseling complex will span 25,000 total square feet along the east side of campus on Henderson Lawn. This twin-building, three-story facility will serve as the future home of the Social Sciences — History & Political Science, Psychology and Sociology — and the School of Education and Counseling. The complex will feature:

  • Nine classrooms

  • Two conference rooms and a large lecture hall

  • Student plaza and green space

  • Outdoor patio dining
