Child Development Lab
Slated to open in Fall 2025 on the west side of campus, the new Child Development Lab will provide our Family and Consumer Sciences students innovative, hands-on experience as they cultivate young minds of the future!

The School of Natural and Applied Sciences houses multiple, successful academic programs such as Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics. Updates and renovations will include:

Social Sciences & Education/Counseling
The Social Sciences and Education/Counseling complex will span 25,000 total square feet along the east side of campus on Henderson Lawn. This twin-building, three-story facility will serve as the future home of the Social Sciences — History & Political Science, Psychology and Sociology — and the School of Education and Counseling. The complex will feature:
Nine classrooms
Two conference rooms and a large lecture hall
Student plaza and green space
Outdoor patio dining
